  1. While the waters flow and tall trees flourish,
  2. and the sun rises and shines and the bright moon also;
  3. while rivers run and the sea breaks on the shore,
  4. ever remaining on this mournful tomb,
  5. I tell the passer-by that Midas here lies buried.
