(Ἀριστοκρέων), a son of the sister of Chrysippus, and a pupil of the latter. (D. L. 7.185; Plut. de Stoic. Repugn. p. 1033.) Whether this is the same Aristocreon, as the one who wrote a description of the world or at least of Egypt, is uncertain. (Plin. Nat. 5.9. s. 10, 6.29. s. 35, 30. s. 35; Aelian, Ael. NA 7.40.)
