(Ἀριστοκράτης), a grammarian, whose remedy for the tooth-ache is preserved by Andromachus (ap. Gal. De Compos. Medicam. sec. Loc. 5.5, vol. xii. pp. 878, 879), and who must therefore have lived some time in or before the first century after Christ. He is also mentioned in the first volume of Cramer's Anecdota Graeca Parisiensia, p. 395.
