3. A native of Lampsacus, a writer on geography, mentioned by Pliny (Plin. Nat. 4.13, 6.31) and Solinus (100.22, 60). He was also in all probability the author of a περίπλους, mentioned by Pliny (7.48; comp. Voss. de Hist. Gr. p. 510, note 34).
