2. A son of Thyestes, who was killed by Atreus (Hygin. Fab. 88, 244, 246; others call him a son of Broteas). He was married to Clytaemnestra before Agamemnon (Paus. 2.22.4), and is said by some to have been killed by Agamemnon. (Paus. 2.18.2, comp. 3.22.4.) His tomb was shown at Argos.
