(Ταλθύβιος), The herald of Agumenmon at Troy. (Hom. Il. 1.320; Ov. Ep. 3.9.) He was worshipped as a hero at Sparta and Argos, where sacrifices also were offered to him. (Paus. 3.12.6, 7.23, in fin.; Hdt. 7.134.)
