1. Of Byzantium, a choliambic poet, a few of whose verses are cited by Athenaeus (iii. p. 75. f.; v. pp. 203, 100.221, a.), by the scholiasts on Pindar (Pind. P. 4.97,) and Nicander (Ther. 806), and by Stephanus of Byzantium (s. vv. Βονδῖνοι, Φρίκιον, Χιτώνη, reading the last passage Παρμένων for Μενίππῳ). These few fragments are collected by Meineke (Choliambica Poesis Graecorum, Berol. 1845).
