(Ὀλύμπιος), the Olympian, occurs as a surname of Zeus (Hornm. Il. 1.353), Heracles (Hdt. 2.44), the Muses (Olympiades, Il. 2.491), and in general of all the gods that were believed to live in Olymitpus, ill contriadistinction from the gods of the lower world.
