2. A general of the Rhodians, who, during the siege of Rhodes by Demetrius Poliorcetes (B. C. 305-304), intercepted and took many ships that were bringing provisions and supplies to Demetrius, including one containing presents for the king himself from Phila, which were immediately sent to Ptolemy in Egypt.
