(Μελίσανδρος), of Miletus, is said to have written an account of the battles of the Lapithae and Centaurs, and is classed by Aelian with the poets Oroebantius and Dares, who are stated to have been the predecessors of Homer. (Aelian, Ael. VH 11.2.)
