a Latin nymph who was worshipped at Minturnae, and to whom a grove was sacred on the river Liris. She was said to be the mother of Latinus by Faunus. (Verg. A. 7.47.) Servius (ad Aen. l.c. and 12.164) remarks that some considered her to be identical with Aphrodite and others with Circe.
