12. Q.AemiliusLepidus, the grandfather of Lepidus the triumvir, must have been either a son or grandson of No. 7. [See below, No. 17.] But the dates will hardly allow us to suppose that he was a son. He was therefore probably a son of No. 9, and a grandson of No. 7.
