(Λαμπετίη), a daughter of Helios by the nymph Neara. After her birth she and her sister Phaetusa were carried to Sicily, in order there to watch over the herds of their father. Some call Lampetia a sister of Phaeion. (Hom. Od. 12.132, &c., 374, &c.; Propert. 3.12, 29; Hyg. Fab. 154; Ov. Met. 2.349.)
