(Ἱππονοίδας), a Spartan officer under Agis II., in the battle fought at Mantineia against the Argives and their allies, B. C. 418. He was accused of cowardice for not having obeyed the orders of Agis during the battle, and exiled from Sparta in consequence. (Thuc. 5.71, 72.)
