to have been a man of great acquirements and of an amiable character. Among Cicero's letters there are several (ad Fam. 7.23-27) which are addressed to M. Fadius. It seems that during the civil war he belonged to the party of Caesar, and fought under him as legate in Spain in B. C. 49.
