7. FANNIUS, one of the commanders under Cassius, in B. C. 42. (Appian, App. BC 4.72.) He may be the same as the C. Fannius mentioned by Josephus (J. AJ 14.10.15), who, however, describes him as στρατηγὸς ῦπατος, the last of which words is probably incorrect.
