1. Of Cyzicus, is quoted by Hieronymus (ad v. Jovin. 2.14) as an authority for the opinion, that at the time of Pygmalion people were not yet in the habit of eating meat. Whether he is the same as the Evanthes of Cyzicus who, according to Pausanias (6.4.10) gained a prize at the Olympian games, is unknown.
