2. An Illyrian by birth, wife of Philip of Macedon, and mother of Cynane or Cynna. (Arrian, apud Phot. p. 70b.; Kuhn, ad Aelian. V. H. 13.36; Paus. 5.17.4.) According to Dicaearchus (apud Athen. xiii. p. 557c.), her name was Audata.
