(Εὔπλους), an engraver of gems, whose time and country are unknown. The name is seen on a gem of Love sitting on a Dolphin. Some take the inscription ΕΥΠΛΟ, not for the name of the artist, but for an allusion to the subject of the gem. (Bracci, Tab. 72 )
