Casaubon and others have identified this Zenon with Zenon of Myndus, who is mentioned by Eusebius (Praep. Evang. 2.6), Theodoretus (Serm. VIII. ad Graecos), Stephanus (s. v. Μύνδος) and others (Menag. ad Diog. Laert. 7.35).
