A native of Citium. respecting whom Suidas is in doubt whether he should be classed with
      the philosophers or the orators. He is said to have written the following works :-- <foreign xml:lang="grc">Περὶ στάσεως</foreign>. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Περὶ
       σχημάτων</foreign>. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Ὑπόμνημα εἰς Ξενοφῶντα</foreign>,
       <foreign xml:lang="grc">εἰς Λυσίαν</foreign>, <foreign xml:lang="grc">εἰς
       Δημοσθένην</foreign>. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Περὶ ἐπιχειρημάτων</foreign>. This
      Zenon is by some (Harles, <hi rend="ital">in Fab.</hi> vol. iii. p. 581) identified with the
      Zenon spoken of in no very flattering terms by Ulpianus (<hi rend="ital">in Dem.
      Proleg.</hi>), and with the physician of the same name who lived in the time of Julianus.</p></div></div></body></text></TEI>
