3. L.Volumnius, a senator with whom Cicero was intimate (Cic. Fam. 7.32; comp. Varr. R. R. 2.4), is perhaps the same as the Volumnius Flaccus, who was a friend of D. Brutus : (Cic. Fam. 11.12, 18.)
