      for a few days during the reign of Maximinus, and to have been put to death by the very
      soldiers who had forced the purple on his acceptance. There can be little doubt that he is the
      same person who is called <hi rend="ital">Tycus</hi> by Capitolinus (<hi rend="ital">Maximin.
