      unknown time, the author of four dramas, <foreign xml:lang="grc">Ἄσωτος</foreign>,
       <foreign xml:lang="grc">Πάν</foreign>, <foreign xml:lang="grc">Παρακαταθήκη</foreign>, and <foreign xml:lang="grc">Φιλοδεσπότης</foreign>, of which we
      have scarcely any remnants, beyond the titles. (Antiatt. pp. 80. 12, 81. 1, 89. 23, 91. 1, 98.
      4; Phot. <hi rend="ital">Lex. s. v.</hi>
      <foreign xml:lang="grc">χάγρα</foreign>.) He is mentioned by Photius among the poets quoted
      by Stobaeus (<hi rend="ital">Bibl.</hi> Cod. 167, p. 374); but no references to him are found
      in our present copies of Stobaeus. It is probable also that the name of a poet <foreign xml:lang="grc">Δημόστρατος</foreign>, whose <foreign xml:lang="grc">Δημοποίητος</foreign> is quoted by Suidas (<hi rend="ital">s. c.</hi>
      <foreign xml:lang="grc">χάραξ</foreign>) is an error for <foreign xml:lang="grc">Τιμόστρατος</foreign>. (Meineke, <hi rend="ital">Frag. Com. Graec.</hi> vol. i. pp. 499,
