      xiv. p. 638b.) He appears to have been ridiculed by Cratinus, in his Seriphians, and the
      worthlessness of his nomes gave rise to the proverbial expressions, <foreign xml:lang="grc">Τελενικίσαι</foreign> and <foreign xml:lang="grc">Τελενίκειος ἠχώ</foreign> (Hesych.
