1. Cn.Sallustius, whose name frequently occurs, appears to have been a client of Cicero, and was a person of considerable literary attainments (Cic. Att. 1.3, 11, 11.11,17, ad Fam. 14.4.6, 14.11, ad Q. Fr. 3.4.2, 3.5.1).
