      of the plebs, <date when-custom="-49">B. C. 49</date>. when he put his veto upon one of the

      He was praetor in <date when-custom="-44">B. C. 44</date>, and is in that year called by Cicero, <hi rend="ital">vir ptre, avo, majoribus suis dignissimus.</hi> (<bibl n="Cic. Phil. 3.10">Cic.
