      sent by Dorimachus, with a force of 600 men, to the assistance of the Eleans during the Social
      War, <date when-custom="-218">B. C. 218</date>. He advanced into Triphylia, but was unable to make
      head against Philip, who drove him in succession out of the fortresses of Lepreum and Samicum,
