      of Adiabene in <date when-custom="63">A. D. 63</date>, when Tigranes, king of Armenia, invaded his
      kingdom. Monobazus applied for aid to Vologeses, the Parthian monarch; and the troops of
      Adiabene and Parthia entered Armenia, and invested its capital, Tigranocerta. Monobazus
      afterwards accompanied Vologeses to the camp of Corbulo [<hi rend="smallcaps">CORBULO</hi>] at
      Randeia, to negotiate a truce between Parthia and Rome. The sons of Monobazus were in the
