A son of Jason and Medeia, is also called Macareus or Mormorus (<bibl n="Hyg. Fab. 239">Hyg. Fab. 239</bibl>; Tzetz. <hi rend="ital">ad Lyc.</hi> 175); he was murdered, together
      with his brother Pheres, by his mother at Corinth. (<bibl n="Apollod. 1.9.28">Apollod.

       4.54</bibl>.) According to others he was stoned to death by the Corinthians (<bibl n="Paus. 2.3.6">Paus. 2.3.6</bibl>; Schol. <hi rend="ital">ad Eurip. Med.</hi> 10), or he was
