       birth.</note> But there is much discrepancy on this point: Dexippus (apud <hi rend="ital">Syncell.</hi> p. 263a.) calls the father of Amyntas Arrhidaeus; and Diodorus (<bibl n="Diod. 15.60">15.60</bibl>), Tharraleos. Justin represents him as brother cf Alexander the
