      brought in a bill for confiscating the property of Ahala, but it failed. (<bibl n="Liv. 4.21">Liv. 4.21</bibl>.) Livy makes no other mention of the punishment of Ahala; but it is stated
      on other authorities, as is mentioned above, that Ahala was brought to trial, and only escaped
