3. L.Lucilius, was with App. Claudius Pulcher [CLAUDIUS, No. 38] in Cilicia, B. C. 38 (Cic. Fam. 3.5.1). He is probably the same as the Lucilius who is mentioned by Cicero as commanding the fleet of Dolabella in Cilicia, B. C. 43 (Cic. Fam. 12.13.3). Instead of Lucilius, Manutius wishes, on the authority of some MSS., to read Lucius, understanding thereby L. Figulus, whom Appian (App. BC 4.60) mentions as the legate of Dolabella.
