C. 38</date> (<bibl n="Cic. Fam. 3.5.1">Cic. Fam. 3.5.1</bibl>). He is probably the same as the Lucilius who is
      mentioned by Cicero as commanding <pb n="823"/> the fleet of Dolabella in Cilicia, <date when-custom="-43">B. C. 43</date> (<bibl n="Cic. Fam. 12.13.3">Cic. Fam. 12.13.3</bibl>). Instead
      of Lucilius, Manutius wishes, on the authority of some MSS., to read Lucius, understanding
      thereby L. Figulus, whom Appian (<bibl n="App. BC 4.8.60">App. BC 4.60</bibl>) mentions as the
