      according to Livy (<bibl n="Liv. 2.43">2.43</bibl>). Dionysius (<bibl n="Dionys. A. R. 9.1">9.1</bibl>) gives the name Sp. Icilius [<hi rend="smallcaps">ICILIUS</hi>, No. 1]; and in
      favour of the latter there is the fact, that in no other instance do we find the praenomen
