He was the author of various epigrams contained in the
Anthologia Graeca,
among which is one Εἰς εἰκόνα Γαβριηλίου ὑπάρχου ἐν
Βυζαντίῳ (vol. ii. p. 634, ed. Jacobs), in honour of Gabriel, who was
praefectus urbi under the emperor Justinian I.
