Of <hi rend="smallcaps">ARABISSUS</hi>, in Cappadocia, of which town he was bishop, an
      ecclesiastical writer of uncertain date. Photius has noticed two of his works:--1. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Εἰς τὴν κτίσιν λόγος</foreign>, <hi rend="ital">Sermo de Crealione
       ;</hi> and, 2. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Εἰς τὸν Λάζαρον</foreign>, <hi rend="ital">De
       Lazaro ;</hi> and gives a long extract from the former, and a shorter extract from the
