It appears on the Fasti for the first time in <date when-custom="-280">B. C. 280</date>, and was extant in the age of Augustus (Hor. <hi rend="ital">Sat.</hi> 1, 6, 12, <hi rend="ital">Schol. Vet.</hi>), and in that of Domitian or Nerva.
