Daughter of Drusus [<hi rend="smallcaps">DRUSUS CAESAR</hi>, No. 16] and Livia, the
      sister of Germanicus. She married, <date when-custom="20">A. D. 20</date>, her first cousin, Nero,
      son of Germanicus and Agrippina (Tac.. <hi rend="ital">Ann.</hi> 3.29; Dio Cass. Iviii. 21),
      and was one of the many spies with whom her mother and Sejanus surrounded that unhappy prince.

      Blandus, by whom she had a son, Rubellius Plautus. (rac. <hi rend="ital">Ann.</hi> 6.27, 45,

      was merely the grandson of a Roman eques of Tibur, the marriage was considered degrading to
      Julia. She too, like the preceding, incurred the hatred of Messalina, and, her instigation,
