      century.</p><div><head>Works</head><div><head><title xml:lang="la">Chronicon</title></head><p>He is the author of a <title xml:lang="la">Chronicon,</title> as yet unpublished,
        extending from the Creation to the reign of Michael III., the son of Theophilus and
        Theodora. Extracts from this <title xml:lang="la">Chronicon</title> have been an given by
        various writers, as Allatius, Petavius, Rader, and Gretzer, and by Hody in his <title xml:lang="la">Dissertatio</title> prefixed to the <title>Chronicon</title> of Malala,
        100.41.</p><p>George Cedrenus, Theophanes, Michael Glycas, and others, have in several places
        transcribed passages from his <title xml:lang="la">Chronicon.</title></p></div></div><div><head>Confusion with others Georges who wrote chronicles</head><p>This George must not be confounded with others of the same name (as George Cedrenus, George
