Master of the equites to the dictator C. Maenius, for the first time in <date when-custom="-320">B. C. 320</date>, according to the Fasti, but according to Livy in <date when-custom="-312">B. C. 312</date> (9.26). Both the dictator and Flaccinator resigned on being
      accused of illegal association against the republic; and both were tried before the consuls
      and honorably acquitted. Flaccinator was consul in <date when-custom="-318">B. C. 318</date> (<bibl n="Liv. 9.20">Liv. 9.20</bibl>), and master of the equites, according to the Fasti, a second
      time to C. Maenius <date when-custom="-314">B. C. 314</date>, but according to Livy (<bibl n="Liv. 9.28">9.28</bibl>) to the dictator C. Poetelius. The cause and circumstances of his
      trial will be better understood by referring to <hi rend="smallcaps">MAENIUS.</hi>
