      assigns to him the <foreign xml:lang="grc">λογοί δημηγορικοίκ</foreign> which Apollodorus
      (apud <hi rend="ital">Diog. l.c.</hi>) ascribes to the Academic philosopher, Crates. (<hi rend="ital">Hist. Crit. Orat. Graec.</hi> in <hi rend="ital">Opusc.</hi> i. p. 370.) Menagius
       (<hi rend="ital">Comm. in Diog. l.c.</hi>) is wrong in supposing that Crates is mentioned by
      Lucian. (<hi rend="ital">Rhet. Praecept.</hi> 9.) The person there spoken of is Critias the
