Tullius Cicero,
      after the death of her first husband, C. Piso Frugi. The marriage contract (<hi rend="ital">sponsalia</hi>) was made on the 6th of April, <date when-custom="-56">B. C. 56</date>. She was,
      however, shortly afterwards divorced from Crassipes, but at what time is uncertain; it must
      have been before <date when-custom="-50">B. C. 50</date>, as she was married to Dolabella in that
      year. Cicero notwithstanding continued to live on friendly terms with Crassipes, and mentions
      to Atticus a conversation he had had with him, when Pompey was setting out from Brundisium, in
       <date when-custom="-49">B. C. 49</date>. (Cic. <hi rend="ital">ad Qu. Fr.</hi> 2.4, 5.1, vi. l, <hi rend="ital">ad Fam.</hi> 1.7.11, 9.20, <hi rend="ital">ad Att.</hi> 4.5, 12, 7.1, <hi rend="ital">ad Att.</hi> 9.11.) There is a letter of Cicero's (<hi rend="ital">ad Fam.</hi>
      13.9) addressed to Crassipes, when he was quaestor in Bithynia, <date when-custom="-51">B. C.
