      <foreign xml:lang="grc">Ἂκη</foreign>, <foreign xml:lang="grc">Ἰουδαία</foreign>,
       <foreign xml:lang="grc">Δῶρος</foreign>; Etym. <hi rend="ital">s. v.</hi>
      <foreign xml:lang="grc">Γάδειπα</foreign>.) This appears to be the same Joläus, who
      wrote a work on the Peloponnesus (<foreign xml:lang="grc">Πελοποννησιακά</foreign>, Schol.
       <hi rend="ital">ad Nicand. Ther.</hi> 521) ; he spoke in one of his works of the city Lampe
      in Crete. (Steph. Byz. <hi rend="ital">s. v.</hi>
