      2.44), among the disciples of Servius Sulpicius. [T. <hi rend="smallcaps">CAESIUS.</hi>] He is
      cited by Ulpian (<bibl n="Dig. 23">Dig. 23</bibl>. tit. 2. s. 6), and by Javolenus. (<bibl n="Dig. 35">Dig. 35</bibl>, tit. 1. s. 40.40.) There are no data to identify him with any of
      the various historical Cinnas of his age. He was later than the celebrated L. Cornelius Cinna,
      who was consul in <date when-custom="-87">B. C. 87</date>-<date when-custom="-84">84</date>; but may have
      been his son. [<hi rend="smallcaps">CINNA</hi>, No. 3.] The grandson, Cn. Corn. Cinna Magnus,
      consul in <date when-custom="5">A. D. 5</date>, is of rather too late a date, and, moreover, is
      termed by Seneca (<hi rend="ital">de Clem.</hi> 1.9), a stupid man, "quod nostro jurisconsulto
      minime convenit," says Maiansius, who seems disposed to identify the jurist with the poet C.
