      whether he is the same as the Fonteius Capito who was put to death in Germany in the reign of
      Galba, <date when-custom="68">A. D. 68</date>, on the ground of having attempted to excite an

      Publius would lead us to refer them to No. 2. The former contains on the obverse a head of
      Mars with a trophy behind it and the inscription P. <hi rend="smallcaps">FONTEIVS</hi>
      <hi rend="smallcaps">CAPITO</hi>, P. F. III. <hi rend="smallcaps">VIR.</hi>, and on the
      reverse a man riding on horseback at full gallop, with two men below fighting, and the
      inscription <hi rend="smallcaps">MAN.</hi>
