      uncertain date, the author of a work on India (<foreign xml:lang="grc">Ἰνδικά</foreign>),
      of which the second book is quoted by Athenaeus. (ix. p. 390b.) He also seems to have written
      on Aethiopia, as he gave an account of the size of the country. (<bibl n="Plin. Nat. 6.29.35">Plin. Nat. 6.29. s. 35</bibl>.) He is mentioned by Agatharchides among the writers on the
