       C., as Galen quotes one of his opinions (<hi rend="ital">De Simpl. Medicam. Temper. ac
        Facult.</hi> 2.5, &amp;c., vol. xi. p. 471, &amp;c.), which was preserved by Diocles of
       Carystus.</p><p>A physician of the same name is mentioned by Pliny (<hi rend="ital">H. N.</hi> Ind.
