      as is usually supposed, he is the same as the one who is called <foreign xml:lang="grc">ἀριφμητικός</foreign>. (<bibl n="D. L. 1.25">D. L. 1.25</bibl>, <bibl n="D. L. 8.12">8.12</bibl>; <bibl n="Ath. 10.418">Athen. 10.418</bibl>.) Whether he is the same as the
      Apollodotus of whom Plutarch (<hi rend="ital">Non posse vivi secund. Epic.</hi> p. 1094)
