       10.446c</bibl>.), lived after the time of Alexander the Great (<bibl n="Plut. Alex. 46">Plut.
       Alex. 46</bibl>), and is frequently referred to by later writers.</p><div><head>Works</head><p>Anticleides wrote,</p><div><head>1. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Περὶ Νόστων</foreign></head><p>Containing an account of the return of the Greeks from their ancient expeditions. (<bibl n="Ath. 4.157">Athen. 4.157</bibl>f., ix. p. 384d., xi. p. 466c.) Anticleides' statement
        about the Pelasgians, which Strabo (<bibl n="Strabo v.p.221">v. p.221</bibl>) quotes, is
        probably taken from the work on the <foreign xml:lang="grc">Νόστοι</foreign>.</p></div><div><head>2. <foreign xml:lang="grc">Δηλιακὰ</foreign></head><p>An account of Delos. (Schol. <hi rend="ital">ad Apoll.
