      was victor in the <foreign xml:lang="grc">δίαυλος</foreign> and the <foreign xml:lang="grc">δόλιχος</foreign> in the Olympic games in Ol. 15, (<date when-custom="-720">B. C.
       720</date>,) and according to some accounts was the first who ran naked in these games.

      to Orsippus the Megarian. [<hi rend="smallcaps">ORSIPPUS.</hi>] Thucydides says that the
